Feb 2007
We hope to have excellent troop participation at all events.
The entire Boy Scout program is built around the regular campouts.
It is in the outdoor setting that Scouts share responsibilities
and learn to live with one another. In the outdoors the skills
and activities they learn at the troop meetings are put into practice.
The more a Scout puts into his organization, then the more he will
benefit from it.
We are very excited about
this year's outdoor program. We have a full calendar of events
and some excellent outings are being planned….a couple to places
where the Troop has never been before….like Rocky Gap and Hawk Mountain.
